Navigating to Comments
- Open your web browser and go to https://app.producthq.io
- Enter your login credentials and click the "Sign In" button to access the dashboard.
- You will then see the comments or ideas suggested by your users.
Adding a New Comment
Engaging in conversations and replying to existing comments is an essential part of collaboration. Here's how you can respond to comments:
- In the dashboard, find the "idea" to which you want to respond.
- A reply box will appear. Type your response and click the "Add comment" button to publish your reply.
Internal Comment Feature
The internal comment feature is used for communication and collaboration with a specific user within the platform. Unlike public comments, which are visible to all users or the general public, internal comments are intended to be private and are only accessible to authorized individuals with specific permissions.
- Type in your response. Toggle on the "Post comment/reply internally" before publishing it.
- Click "reply". Your response is now posted and is only visible to that specific person.
The comments/replies are labelled as "Public" or "Internal" so you can easily distinguish.
Mentioning Admin/Users
You can mention your users to let them be notified that you already have responded to them. Just type in "@" and names will show. Choose the person/people you want to mention. If it's not showing, type in their name instead (e.g. @xyz)The user or admin will then be notified once they are mentioned in the comments or ideas.
